What does a prenup lawyer do?

Does $950 cover both partners?

How early should we start?
Start well before your wedding. California generally requires at least seven calendar days between presentation of the final prenup and signing, even with lawyers. Allow additional time for disclosure, advice and changes. Read the timing guide.
Can a prenup decide child support or spousal support?
A prenup cannot adversely affect a child’s right to support. Spousal support terms have special rules involving independent counsel and fairness when enforcement is sought. Understand California’s spousal support rules.
